A Case of Spontaneous Uterine Rupture at the Site of Uterine Myoma after Normal Vaginal Delivery

Abstract
Uterine rupture during pregnancy or delivery is rare, but one of the most dangerous events to pregnant women and fetus. Uterine rupture most commonly occurs in women with history of previous cesarean delivery. And also, cases of women with surgical history of uterus such as myomectomy or myolysis have been reported. When myoma is diagnosed during pregnancy, physician need to consider about risks of preterm labor and postpartum bleeding, cesarean delivery due to obstructed obstetric canal etc. But uterine rupture by myoma in pregnancy has not yet been reported. Recently, in our hospital, we have experienced a case of spontaneous uterine rupture on the part of uterine myoma and consequently resulting in hemoperitoneum in a woman with no previous surgical history. So, we hereby present a case with a brief review of literatures.
